- For Roon usage and support: Visit the Roon Knowledge Base.
Setup Guide
1. Update Your Software
- Update the Conductor App to the latest version (V4.25 or later)
- Navigate to: Settings -> Conductor Update
- Update Aurender System Software to the lastest version (1.24.265 or later)
- Navigate to: Settings -> Aurender Update
- Tap “Update” when the button is enabled
2. Connect to Roon Server
- Launch Roon Server
- Go to: Settings -> Audio -> Roon Ready
- Your Aurender will automatically appear in the Roon Ready section (this is your device set to Analog output, which is the default setting.)
- Important: If Aurender doesn’t appear or you have an existing Roon Server, restart the Roon Server host device twice
3. Configure Audio Output
a. Open Conductor App: Settings -> Streaming -> Roon
b. Choose your output option and enable Roon Ready mode:
- Analog (Default): Your Aurender appears automatically in Roon Ready section
- USB: Connect USB DAC first, then enable Roon Ready mode – a new Aurender device will appear in Roon Ready list
– Note: Output selection optimization ensures maximum performance between Aurender and Roon
4. Enable and Name Your Device
a. Click “Enable” in Roon Server
b. Name your device
- Recommended: Include output type in name (e.g., “N20 USB,” “N20 S/PDIF,” “John’s Audio Room N20”)
- This helps avoid confusion when selecting outputs
5. Ready to Play
- Choose your newly enabled Aurender device as Audio Device output
- Now you can enjoy your music through Roon!
Important Notes
- Default Roon Endpoint output is Analog
- Switching to USB output in Conductor App will create a new “Aurender {Model Name}” entry in Roon Ready list — Remember to enable and name the new device in Roon Server
