Introduction
NAS Scan allows you to browse and play music from a NAS device through your Aurender's library view, just like you do with internal storage. You can seamlessly access all your music in one place—no more switching to the 'Folder' tab for NAS content.
Note: The USB/NAS Scan feature is specifically designed for users who prefer to maintain and access their music collection on external storage devices, regardless of available internal storage space. This is not a workaround for limited internal storage capacity, but rather a dedicated feature for those who intentionally choose to organize their content on USB drives or NAS devices as part of their preferred workflow and media management strategy.
Feature Limitations and Recommendations:
- File/Tag Management Limitations: Music files on USB drives and NAS storage will not be supported by future file management features and tag editing functionality via Conductor. These advanced features will only be available for content stored on the Aurender's internal storage.
- Best Experience Recommendation: For the most seamless and complete Aurender experience, we recommend using the internal storage whenever possible.
