"Favorite" Artists, Albums, Songs, and Playlists
"Favorite" artists, albums, songs, and playlists that you have saved in Qobuz or TIDAL will appear in the Conductor app when you select the "Favorites" tab on the second line of buttons. When you mark new favorites from the TIDAL or Qobuz app(s), those favorites will appear in the Conductor app automatically.
If, while browsing TIDAL or Qobuz content in Conductor, you discover a new artist, album, playlist, or song that you would like to add to your "Favorites", use the (TIDAL) or (Qobuz) icons to save new favorites. New "Favorites" that you save in Conductor will be updated and saved back to your streaming account automatically for cross-platform synchronization.
"Add to Library" Feature
There is a subtle distinction between "Favorites" and Conductor's unique "Add to Library" feature. "Favorites" are saved in your streaming account information database, while "Add to Library" content gets added directly to your Aurender internal library database. "Add to Library" works as an amazing tool to help you curate a vast personalized music library - it helps blur the line between local content and streaming content.
Press and hold on any artist, song, album, or playlist and then select "Add to Library" in order to save that selection to your Aurender library database:
After a few minutes, your Aurender library database will automatically update with the newly added library content integrated into your local library.
Tap "Select Multiple" to make up to 10 selections at a time. This way, you can add content to your library in a larger batch.
The "Add to Library" feature does not download music files to your Aurender storage. Instead, it downloads LINKS to those files, which are added to your library like bookmarks or directories to the streaming content.
If you want "Add to Library" content to be synced back to Qobuz or TIDAL so that Favorites are updated in other platforms, make sure the option is switched on in Settings>General:
Note: To remove "Add to Library" content from your library, press and hold on the item you want to remove, and then tap "Remove from library." Changes will be reflected after the Aurender library database is refreshed.
