Instructions
Please read the following instructions carefully before setting up the Aurender Music Player.
• Be careful not to drop the device to avoid internal damage.
• Do not disassemble the device.
• Keep magnetic materials away from Aurender to prevent any damage to data.
• Do not expose device to oil, dust, water, high humidity, or smoke.
• Keep ventilation openings free from obstruction.
• When cleaning, use only a soft cloth. Keep out of contact with water or other liquids.
• All servicing must be performed by a qualified representative, or the warranty will be voided.
• Unplug power cord during severe lightning storms or when unused for a long period of time.
• Unplug the device from the outlet only after completely turning off the unit.
• Always turn the power off before connecting or disconnecting any cables.
• Please note that hard drives can break down.
It is important to backup your music collection periodically to a separate memory device. In the event of drive failure, Aurender is not responsible for any loss of data. The drive manufacturer will only replace faulty drives under warranty and will not compensate for any loss of data.
Positioning
• Place your device on a flat, horizontal, and stable surface.
• Keep away from heat sources, such as radiators.
• Allow space around the device for ventilation.
• Do not place inside an enclosed cabinet.

In the default mode, pressing will power the unit on and completely off. In the Standby mode, pressing the front panel button will put the unit into standby, and the unit will turn on instantly. In standby mode, to turn the unit completely, press the button once so that it shows the display and press the button again so that it turns off. Flashing will stop when the unit is off.

10. Display Menu button
Press to cycle through 3 display options: Song Information, Playlist and Aurender IP. Songs from playlists may be selected using the four buttons on the right side of the front panel display. Use buttons 11 and 13 to scroll between playlists and button 12 to select a playlist. After the playlist is selected, press button 12 again to start playback. Once the playlist is selected, buttons 11 and 13 can be used to select songs within the selected playlist.

Pairing BLE Remote Control
1. Turn on A1.
2. Press ③ (Play Next) for more than 8 seconds.
3. LED on remote will start blinking in pairing mode.
4. If LED stops blinking, it’s done.
(BLE remote will be shipped already paired mode with A1.)
Charging BLE Remote Control
1. Connect USB-C cable to ⑦.
2. ⑥ hole will show RED light during charging.
3. ⑥ hole’s RED light will be turned off when charging done.

Connection to amplifier and router

Connect A1 with your TV using ARC
1. Check that your TV has HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) and connect the A1’s ARC port with this input using HDMI 1.4 or newer cable.
2. Connect main power to your A1 unit and power it ON.
3. Power ON your TV, enable HDMI/ARC audio input from TV side. Make sure to setup audio output to PCM.
4. A1 will now be operated from your TV via CEC commands from TV. This will allow you to use you TV-remote to adjust volume of the A1 and also the A1 will power ON and OFF together with your TV.
5. A1 will on/off with TV only in ARC input mode.

Connect A1 through Bluetooth
1. Please change input to “Bluetooth” mode by pressing IR remote button #7 (input selection) or press #1 button (input selection) on the front panel.
2. Press “Menu” key (#10) on the front panel , or “Menu” button (#8) on the IR remote control.

3. A1 will be at “Pairing request” mode like below.

4. Please turn on BT on your phone and search for “A1”, then select it.
5. After pairing successful, the below display will come out when playback music.

Streaming audio playback
Google Cast playback
1. Make sure your playback device is same network as your A1.
2. From any Google Cast supported APP, you can find the Google Cast symbol, if it is in the same
network as your A1 system. Simply press the logo and choose A1.
Connect A1 to TIDAL
1. Play a song and tap on the “Now playing” bar,
2. Tap on the device selector at the top right.
3. Choose a TIDAL connect-enabled device (e.g. A1).
