1. If you've enabled the AirPlay or Spotify features in the Conductor app but don't see Aurender listed on AirPlay or in the Spotify app, ensure that both your phone and Aurender are on the same network. This is crucial because these features rely on the Bonjour service to detect devices on the local network.
2. To ensure both devices are on the same network and Bonjour is functioning correctly, there are apps available for this purpose.
For iPhone and iPad users, the 'Discovery' app is recommended:
[[📌]] Discovery - DNS-SD Browser on the App Store (Alternatively, scan the provided QR code).
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/discovery-dns-sd-browser/id305441017
3. For Android users, the 'Service Browser' app is recommended:
[[📌]] Service Browser on the Google Play Store (Alternatively, scan the provided QR code).
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.druk.servicebrowser&pcampaignid=web_share
4. After installing the app, please open it. For iPhone and iPad users, the first time you open the app, you'll be asked for permission to find and connect to devices on your local network. Tap the "Allow" button.
5. You will see a list of service entries. To ensure that your Aurender device is on the same network, please find "_aurender._tcp." from the local section, and tap on it.
6. In the '_aurender._tcp.' section, you'll find a list of Aurender devices connected to the same network as your mobile device. If your Aurender device isn't listed, there might be a connectivity issue. It's possible that your router is blocking communication between the Aurender and your mobile device.
7. To ensure that Spotify is functioning properly on your Aurender device, please find '_spotify-connect._tcp.' from the local section and tap on it. Make sure the Spotify feature is enabled. Remember, your Aurender device should already be visible from the '_aurender._tcp.' section, as mentioned in the previous step.
8. In the '_spotify-connect._tcp.' section, you'll see a list of Aurender devices with Spotify enabled.
9. To ensure that AirPlay is functioning properly on your Aurender device, please find '_raop._tcp.' from the local section and tap on it. Make sure the AirPlay feature is active. Remember, your Aurender device should already be visible from the '_aurender._tcp.' section, as mentioned in the previous steps.(Step 5 and 6)
10. In the '_raop._tcp.' section, you'll see a list of Aurender devices with AirPlay enabled.
11. If you've followed the previous steps and ensured that your devices are on the same network but your Aurender device isn't listed in either the '_aurender._tcp.', '_spotify-connect._tcp.', or '_raop._tcp.' sections, there may be an issue. It's possible that your router is blocking communication between the Aurender and your phone or that the desired feature (AirPlay or Spotify) isn't enabled correctly. For assistance, please consult your network administrator or contact support@aurender.com.
