Getting Started with ACS Sync
1. Enabling ACS Sync Beta Feature
- Open Settings and select "Beta"
- Locate "ACS Sync" and select "Requires Update"
- You'll be redirected to "Beta Update"
- Note: ACS Sync requires the latest beta version of System Software on all your devices. Simply update one device first - the rest can be updated together in the next step.
- Select "Update" and wait for completion (Your ACS will reboot automatically)
- Return to Settings → "Beta"
- Enable "ACS Sync" ⇒ A new "ACS Sync" menu will appear in Settings

Remeber: We need to grant your Aurender ID a special permission in advance and only then the beta menu will be accessible. If there's no "ACS Sync" option available in the "Beta" menu, make sure you're logged into your Aurender ID with the correct Google/Apple account. Try reluanching the Conductor app. If the problem persists, please don't hesitate to contact us via support@aurender.com.

FAQ
Q: How does ACS Sync work?
A: ACS Sync matches folders across devices: Music1 folders sync with other Music1 folders, and Music2 with Music2. It doesn't mix content between Music1 and Music2. If one device has both folders (which means two stroages installed) but another only having Music1, only the content in Music1 folder will be synced.
Q: What happens to already synced content if I change ACS Sync settings before sync is complete?
A: Changes to Sync Settings won't affect content that's already synced. Your new settings will only apply to content that hasn't been synced yet.
Q: I'm seeing this message: "Due to temporary server instability, sync modifications are currently unavailable." What does it mean?
A: This means our sync server is experiencing some temporary issues. If you keep seeing this message, please reach out to our support team at support@aurender.com for assistance.
Q: Why does my progress bar move backwards instead of steadily increasing?
A: Don't be alarmed if the Sync Progress Bar percentage jumps around, especially during the early stages. This could happens while the system finalizes what needs to be synced. The status is only a display of what is expected, and it won't affect your final sync results.
Q: Can I sync ACS devices that I haven't registered?
A: Unfortunately it's unavailable. Only the registered ACS can enable ACS Sync. Connect the Conductor to the device, then go to Settings ➝ Help ➝ your Aurender ID ➝ your device ➝ Select "Register". Registration requires direct Conductor connection between your Aurneder. Please repeat the process with each ACS device.
Q: Can I set different sync settings for each of my ACS devices? Content and Streaming Account for ACS #1 & #2 and only the Streaming Account for #3?
A: Sync Settings will apply to all your sync-enabled ACSs. Individual setup is not available.
Q: What's Central Server Mode?
A: It's one of the ACS's storage mode options — Extended Storage vs. Central Server. When your ACS is set to Central Server Mode, it links the ACS with designated non-ACS Aurender units, allowing access to the ACS's content across all connected devices.
To learn more about this and ACS storage mode settings(Central Server/Extended Storage Mode), including their benefits, please check out the links below:
Q: Will the ACS storage Central Server mode remain after removing/canceling the ACS Sync settings?
A: When you delete ACS Sync settings, devices that were set to Central Server (CS) mode will remain in CS mode. However, you can freely switch between Extended Storage and Central Server Mode anytime through the Settings > ACS menu. Note that while ACS Sync is enabled, you can only use Central Server Mode.
Q: What happens if each ACS is using different streaming accounts?
A: The most recent login credential for each streaming service will be used.
Q: Why does my ACS keep updating automatically so frequently?
A: During ACS Sync operation, it's crucial to maintain consistent versions across all devices. Therefore, the system checks and automatically updates every 10 minutes to ensure all ACS devices are running on the same version. Don't worry though - updates won't occur while music is playing to avoid any interruption to your listening experience.
