Q. I enabled the “Save Last Volume Level” option, but after rebooting my Aurender, the volume resets to the default level. Why is this happening?
A. This function works only when the A-series unit is using the Line Out output. It does not apply when using headphone output.
📌 What does “Save Last Volume Level” do?
Aurender A-Series models include DAC-level volume control.
When you enable the “Save Last Volume Level” option in the Conductor app under Settings > Advanced, your system will retain the most recent volume level you set—even after restarting or powering off the unit.
⚠️ Important Notes:
- When using Line Out → ✅ Volume is saved and restored correctly after reboot.
- When using Headphone Output → ❌ Volume will always reset to the default level (-60dB or -30dB).
This behavior is intentional and designed for hearing protection.
Because headphone output can deliver high volume directly to your ears, the system always starts at a safe level after rebooting to prevent accidental loud output.
