1. Please be aware that the USB Dongle (transmitter) and S5W Speaker units are initially paired at the factory. You only need to follow these pairing steps if you've lost the original transmitter and have bought a new one.
2. Before initiating the pairing process, ensure the volume on your PC or source device is set to a very low level to prevent unexpectedly loud audio output.
3. Plug the USB Dongle into an available USB port on your PC or source device. Plug the USB Dongle into an available USB port on your PC or source device. For optimal pairing performance, we recommend placing the USB dongle and the S5W speaker in close proximity during the pairing process.
4. Check if the S5W Speaker is currently not paired by observing the LED light next to the Aurender logo. If the LED light is blinking (whether green or amber, every 1.58 seconds), it indicates that the speaker is not paired, and the USB dongle's lamp will also blink. In this case, pairing is necessary.
Note that a green LED denotes Stereo mode, while an amber LED indicates Mono mode. For more information on transitioning between Mono and Stereo modes on your S5W speaker, kindly refer to this link.
5. To start the pairing process, take your remote control and bring it close to the S5W units.
6. Press the buttons on the remote control in the following sequence with a 0.5 to 1-second interval between each press: 8 -> 10 -> 9 -> 11 -> 1.
7. Wait for around 10 seconds. If the pairing is successful, the LED lamp on the speaker will stop blinking and display a solid color, either green (Stereo mode) or amber (Mono mode), and the USB dongle's lamp will display a solid red color.
8. After confirming a successful pairing, ensure the volume on the output source is set very low. Gradually increase the volume to your desired level, adjusting slowly to ensure the sound output is at a comfortable level.
9. If the LED lamp does not display a solid green or amber light after following these steps, please try again, ensuring you're pressing the buttons on the remote control at 0.5 to 1-second intervals. If pairing is unsuccessful for both units, or if only one unit is paired, you may attempt to pair each unit individually. If one unit is already paired, you can turn it off and try pairing only the unit that is not paired. If the issue continues, we kindly ask you to send a support email to our customer service for further assistance.
