Aurender is designed to work with USB Audio Class 2.0 (UAC2) chipsets.
Some DACs have a switch or a setting in their software(application) to switch between Class 1 operation (legacy USB audio) and Class 2 operation. Please refer to your DAC owner's manual for how to adjust to Class 2 operation.
A simple way to check whether the DAC is compatible with Aurender(Linux Machine) is to check whether the DAC works with a Apple Mac computer without installing any custom drivers.
Aurender provides a Compatible DAC List as a reference for users: Compatible USB DAC List
This list is not an official certification or guaranteed compatibility list. It is subject to change due to various reasons, such as DAC firmware updates. Presence on this list does not guarantee ongoing or universal compatibility, and absence does not necessarily mean a DAC will not work.
