Cloning one Aurender to another Aurender

Aurender's "Cloning" function will copy the entire content of one Aurender to another including playlists, streaming "add to library" content, and ratings information.

Before cloning, you must have connected to both the source and target Aurenders with the Conductor app at least once. 

To start cloning:

1. Make sure both your Source and Target Aurenders are on and connected to your network. For a fast and reliable file transfer, connect both units directly your router via Ethernet. It is not advisable to do a large file transfer using a WiFi extender, powerline adapter, or other network extension solution.  
2. Open the Conductor app and go to Settings>Clone Aurender
3. Tap "select a source Aurender" and choose the Aurender whose contents you wish to transfer to the new Aurender.
4. Tap "select a target Aurender" and choose the Aurender whose contents you wish to REPLACE with the source. The content of the target Aurender will be deleted. Please make sure that you have selected the correct "source" and "target" Aurenders. 
5. Tap "start clone"

Cloning status and estimated time to completion will be shown on the front display of both Aurenders.

Compatibility notes:

• Aurender's cloning function is not available for ACS or A30 models. Please see this related article to Backup & Restore Library Content Manually.
• If the source has both "Music1" and "Music2" HDDs, but the target has only "Music1." only the content from the source's "Music1" will be cloned. Please contact support@aurender.com for help migrating a 2 HDD unit's library content to a new Aurender with only one storage disk.
