Backup & Restore Library Content Manually

To RESTORE your library database and music files onto a new Aurender:

1. Copy the library content and "backup" folder onto the new Aurender ​(How do I transfer music files to an Aurender Music Server?). Important: do not alter the folder structure in any way when transferring files to the new Aurender. The folder structure and organization must be EXACTLY the same as it was on the original Aurender in order for the library database backup & restore function to work.
2. After the file transfer is complete (this can take a long time depending on how much content you are moving), open the Conductor App and connect to the new Aurender.
3. In the Conductor app, go to Settings>Backup & Restore>Restore from Music1/backup

Note: if your old Aurender had "Music1" and Music2" HDDs, but your new Aurender only has "Music1," please send a Remote Support Email for assistance migrating your library to the new unit.
