Content Downloader simplifies the process of managing your purchased music by automatically downloading and organizing content you've bought from supported music services directly to your Aurender device. No more manual downloading, transferring files, or dealing with metadata - Content Downloader handles it all automatically.

Getting Started
1. Initial Setup
- Open the Conductor app
- Navigate to Settings > Library & Storage
- Select "Content Downloader"
2. Service Configuration
- Select your purchased music service (Qobuz or HIGHRESAUDIO)
- Log in with your account credentials
- Verify your subscription status
3. Download Settings
- Set root download directory (where your music will be stored)
- Downloads are stored on internal storage only.
If internal storage is not installed, power off the unit and install it first. - You can select an existing folder or create a new folder as the download directory.

- Choose download mode (e.g. Historic and future purchases / Future purchases only / Disabled)
- Note: Disabled means downloading is completely turned off. Pressing "Start Download" will not trigger any download.
4. Sit back and wait
Let Content Downloader handle downloads for you. You can check the download status on the settings view. Your files will be organized as follows:

Q: Do I need to keep my computer running to download purchases?
A: No, Content Downloader runs directly on your Aurender device.
Q: What happens if I already have downloaded files from my previous purchases?
A: If you have manually downloaded your purchased music to your Aurender device before using Content Downloader, we recommend setting the download mode to "Future only". This prevents downloading duplicate files of your existing content and ensures only new purchases will be downloaded automatically.
Q: Can I change download settings after initial setup?
A: Yes. You can revisit and update the following at any time from Settings > Library & Storage > Content Downloader > (Each Streaming Service Page):

- Download location — change where your music is stored on the device
- Download mode — switch between Historic & future purchases, Future purchases only, or Disabled
- Organization preferences — toggle whether the release year is included in album folder names
- Download history — review previously downloaded content
Q: What quality are the downloads?
A: Files are downloaded in the same quality as your purchase.
Q: I tapped "Start Download" but nothing seems to be happening. Is something wrong?
A: Not necessarily. After tapping Start Download, the app may not show any immediate feedback while the system prepares the download in the background. This can take a minute or two — please wait before assuming something went wrong.
If the download still doesn't start, check that you're using the latest version of the Conductor app (available on the App Store or Google Play), as recent updates may resolve the issue. If the problem persists, please reach out to our support team.
