Transfer Music Files to Aurender via LAN (Local Area Network) from a Mac
To transfer files from a Mac, you will first need to connect to the Aurender's internal storage from your Mac and mount the root folder(s) as a CIFS or SMB shared folder. Please see the link below for instructions:
- Connect to Aurender From a Mac -

Drag and Drop or Copy/Paste Content
When the Aurender's root Music1 or Music2 folder is mounted to the Mac, you can drag and drop or copy and paste music located on the internal storage of the Mac, a USB external storage device connected to the Mac, or another NAS shared folder connected to the Mac.
As an example, illustrated below is copying content located on a USB drive attached to the computer (10), navigating to the default folder labeled "Classic" on the Aurender (11), and pasting the content to that folder (12).
As an example, illustrated below is copying content located on a USB drive attached to the computer (10), navigating to the default folder labeled "Classic" on the Aurender (11), and pasting the content to that folder (12).
Alternatively, in the example below we are selecting the folders we wish to transfer, and dragging them in to the "Classic" folder (13).
In either case, once the transfer has begun, a dialog window will appear displaying the status of the copy process and the estimated time remaining (14).
If you have multiple folders in one folder, the Aurender considers the last folder in the hierarchy as one album. The screenshot below shows the Aurender's folder structure being taken care of correctly.

I have been using High Definition music files that I have purchased and download with HD TRACKS ON my previous MacBook Pro, however, recently purchased a MacBook Pro M1 and I can download HD Tracks to the HD Downloader on my MacBook Pro but they don’t automatically go to my Music file on my computer as they used to, they remain in HDTracks downloader application on my MacaBook Pro. Please advise.
Thank you, Ed Baron
