As of now, there is no automated Aurender backup function. However, you can manually backup your Aurender library database and transfer music content via the following steps.
- In the Conductor app, go to Settings>Backup & Restore>Backup to Music1/backup. This will create a small backup file which contains your library database information including playlists, ratings, settings, and streaming "add to library" content. This backup file will be saved to your Aurender's Music1 internal storage drive in a folder named "backup." NOTE: this file does NOT contain any actual music files. It is only the library directory database.
- To copy files from your Aurender using a Mac, you will first need to mount the Aurender as a shared folder on your Mac over your LAN (local area network). Here's how to mount/connect to the Aurender via your Mac: - Connect to Aurender From Mac Computer -
- Copy and Paste from Aurender to Destination Folder:
Select and Copy (Cmd + C) the desired folders & files (including the "backup" folder) from your Aurender's internal storage. Drag and drop, or Paste (cmd + V) to a folder on an external HDD/SSD, NAS, or other Aurender mounted on your Mac.
Tip: It is helpful to open two Finder windows side-by-side, so you can easily view the Source (Aurender Music1 or Music2) and Destination (external HDD/SSD/NAS/Other Aurender).

Under #2 above it should say "using a Mac" -- not Windows PC.
Updated! Thanks.
