[Export Metadata] How to export metadata from ACS/A30 Manager

Available for:

• ACS10, ACS100, A30 models
• System version 1.24.146 or higher

Features Explained

• Your edited metadata can now be saved directly to the file from the ACS/A30 Manager.
• You can choose when to apply these changes – schedule the export or do it on demand. 
• Edit the tag from the ACS/A30 Manager, export it, and then your cutom details will be written to the file itself.
• Note: If you don't export the metadata, the edit won't apply to the actual file but only remains with the Aurender database file.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Metadata(Tag) Edit

1. Edit the tags(metadata). Song title, artist, etc. For example, edit the title of a song.
   
   
   
2. After editing the tag(metadata), click on the 'Save' button on the top right corner to save the change.
   Note: This process only applies to the Aurender database, but not to the actual file.
   
   

2. Export Metadata

1. In order to acutally export your customized metadata information, navigate to Home > Settings > Export Metadata Section.
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. Tap "Export" button. The process will begin immediately and the status update will be displayed on the same window.
   
   
3. Export can also be conducted on a schedule basis. Toggle on the 'Periodically writing metadata to a file' option if you'd like to use.
   
4. After the metadata export is complete, a message will appear indicating that the export is done. The metadata is now saved to the music file.
5. Another tip: You can also toggle on the 'Sync Album Title with Album Directory' option to match the actual names of your folders according to the modifications made in the ACS Manager.
   

3. Real-life example of what happens after the metadata export!

1. If you transfer the music file to another device, the edited title will be visible on that device. Here is an example:
   (This example uses the 'Clone' feature, but you can simply copy the content from your PC or use the Smart Copy feature in the Conductor app, rather than using the 'Clone' feature.)
   
   
   
2. ACS10 has been selected as the source and A15 as the target, then clone process started by pressing the 'Start Clone' button.
   
   
   
3. After the cloning process is complete, the edited title -I'm Eighteen 18- will be visible on the Conductor app connected to the A15!
