This setting should be adjusted based on the DAC you are using. For example, if your DAC supports DoP (DSD over PCM), select DoP to ensure proper playback.
1. Open the Roon application on your device and go to Settings.
2. In the Settings menu, select Audio.
Under the Roon Ready section, find the Aurender device for which you want to change the DoP or Native DSD setting. Click on Device Info,
3. Then click the "Configure Device" button.
Your web browser will automatically open the configuration page for the Aurender device.
4. On the configuration page, choose from the three available options:
- Native DSD (default setting)
- DoP (DSD over PCM)
- Not Supported
After selecting your preferred setting, click the Save button to apply the changes.
5. Your DoP or Native DSD setting is now updated successfully!
Note:
If your USB DAC supports DSD but Roon converts DSD playback to PCM, please check the Volume Control setting in Roon.
When Volume Control is set to Software, Roon applies digital volume processing, which requires DSD to be converted to PCM.
